Hi Everyone!
The Hangman was one of our more complex design briefs. The customer was interested in a build that utilised our resin channel construction method. He chose Buckeye Burl for the wing sections with a core of Black Limba and a Flamed Maple top. He wanted the pickups to be mounted centrally, rather than using the standard side mounts. This proved to be a challenge for our pickup builders but after a lot of prototypes, he absolutely nailed it!
Our customer also wanted a wood/resin hybrid fretboard, with full scalloping. We opted to outsource the scalloping to another luthier, as it’s not something we are very experienced in doing. He did a great job and our customer was very pleased with the results! This guitar was quite an undertaking to build but we’re very pleased with how it’s turned out!

Hi Everyone!

The Raz was a build that took a long time to come to fruition. It went through many design shifts and small detail changes, but its core concept remained the same. It was a to be a 7 string version of our Bayou model, with a few slight changes to the bottom curves and carving.

All the woods were chosen by the customer, he went for a beautiful Black Limba top, mounted onto a Rosewood back. The neck is made from Wenge & Mahogany and features a multi-laminate fretboard with custom inlay. Although this was a long build, it was worth every moment to bring this beautiful guitar to life!

Hey Everyone!

The Ikara is built for comfort, first and foremost. It has a small form factor with an exaggerated arm cut that gives you a really relaxed playing stance. There are many body contours and cuts that make the Ikara hug your body, and can give some great contrasts of colour and materials. The Ikara was the first build to use a pair of the beastly Oil City Pickups® Neodynium pickups.
